Our Services

Taking a holistic approach to treatment

Services

We take a holistic approach to treatment, addressing every aspect of the consumers mental health and well-being. Each patient is valued as a unique individual who deserves respect, dignity, care, and culturally sensitive treatment options.

Counseling and Support

We understand healing and recovery is an individualized process and our staff is here to help each step of the way. Our licensed Counselors provide individual, family, and group therapy utilizing research-backed interventions to help you reach your treatment goals. To further support your overall outcome in our program, Peer Recovery Support Specialists, Behavioral Health Aides, and Music Therapist will provide assistance with developing coping strategies and overcoming personal barriers such as housing, food security, and child care.

Trauma-Informed Treatment

The effects of trauma can have long-lasting adverse effects on an individual’s functioning. Addressing trauma is an important component of the treatment plan. Our treatment team is trained in trauma-focused models, such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

Medication-Assisted Treatment

Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is the use of medications such as Methadone or Suboxone, in combination with counseling, to provide a holistic approach to the treatment of substance use disorders. MAT can improve patient survival, increase retention in treatment, decrease opiate use, decrease drug cravings, and decrease criminal activity by reducing the patients' notions of the need to obtain opiates illicitly. The ultimate goal of MAT is full recovery.

Medication Evaluation

After a mental health assessment with a Licensed Counselor is complete, a medication evaluation will be facilitated by the Medical Doctor to determine whether Medication Assisted Treatment is appropriate for you.

Counseling

Our licensed counselors provide individual, family, couples, and group therapy utilizing a wide range of evidence based practices. At LRTC we view recovery as a holistic process. We focus on the individual's overall well-being while also treating physical symptoms of addiction and withdrawal. We understand recovery as an individualized process and identify the importance of understanding the various obstacles each consumer faces. Our team treats physical and mental addiction symptoms as well as emotional and nutritional imbalances. Lack of sleep, poor diet and emotional stress are all potential obstacles for individuals entering recovery. Our holistic approach to therapy is flexible, catering to the needs of each individual.

Medication Assisted Treatment

Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) of Substance Use Disorders involves a combination of medications that targets the brain, and psychosocial interventions (e.g., counseling, skills development) aimed at improving treatment outcomes. Although there are several medications available to assist in the treatment of opioid dependence, they all work in a similar manner by effectively eliminating withdrawal symptomology.  This allows the individual in recovery to being focusing on behavioral changes which will assist in maintaining abstinence.  At LRTC, we utilize Methadone and Suboxone to treat those with opiate dependence and Vivitrol for those with opiate and/or alcohol dependence.  Our knowledgeable and experienced team will work to develop a comprehensive treatment plan to support consumers in achieving their recovery goals.
